Blake Kennedy (VP, Sales and Marketing)
Blake Kennedy joins BFS as a Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Atlanta area.
After graduating from Elon University, Blake had a successful 10-year career at UPS. Blake held a variety of roles at UPS’s Worldwide Headquarters and was consistently recognized as one of the top sales resources. In his last position at UPS, Blake was responsible for a $25 million portfolio with the global carrier. In 2006, Blake joined Ftrans, a B2B payment solutions provider based in Atlanta. In Blake’s role as Regional Sales Director, he was responsible for generating sales throughout the state of Alabama, South Georgia & North Florida.
Blake joins the Bibby team located in Kennesaw that currently specializes in Import/Export financing and Purchase Order Funding. Blake’s factoring expertise will be just one more asset to the types of financing Bibby will be able to offer the Atlanta market.
David Fortner (VP, Sales)
David Fortner, Vice President of Sales for Bibby Financial Services, has been involved in factoring for over 15 years. For the last 7 years, David worked for GMAC Commercial Finance as an International Account Executive. David managed a $170 million portfolio of export and direct import clients. Prior to this David worked with Bank of America and NationsBank where his jobs included Credit Manager, Trade Finance Specialist, and Accounts Receivable Specialist.
David is Factors Chain International certified, Moody’s credit training certified, and has a strong working knowledge of credit insurance and factoring. He is a member of the Commercial Finance Association Atlanta Chapter.
When not working, David enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and community outreach.
