Cynthia Graham (Business Development Officer)

Cynthia Graham completed a bachelors degree in history, and was awarded a graduate assistanceship which funded the completion of two Master’s degrees; one in History and a second in Industrial-Organizational Psychology.  For the next twelve years, Ms. Graham excelled in human resources both through work and volunteer leadership opportunities.  As a result, she was extended an invitation to speak for the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) on the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) of 1993 before a U.S. Senate Subcommittee hearing on May 9, 1995.  Not only was her position statement submitted to the Congressional Record, it was quoted in the Bureau of National Affairs and the National Coalition to Protect Family Leave.  Additionally, Ms. Graham was active in the local chapters of SHRM as the Director of the Newsletter and the V.P. of Communications and Public Relations.

Shortly after the dot com down turn, Ms. Graham joined her family’s business as an independent insurance agent.  After one year, she negotiated an agency contract and replaced her sister as the number one producing agent / owner in the United States for Boston Mutual Life Insurance Company dominating the military market.  In fact, she reset the bar on how other agents would be evaluated in both persistency and volume.

While attending an Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) networking meeting, a former Wells Fargo banker approached her to assist with lead generation for his bank’s factoring program.  This lead to brokering commercial financing deals which then grew into being a contract agent for Coface North America. Ms. Graham now arrives at Bibby Financial Services eager to bring the same excellence and dedication to the world of corporate finance primarily through accounts receivable financing.
